Communications Provider

We need to update and extend our current telephone lines, we only have our personal landline, and connection to WIFI is unpredictable.
Has anybody had a positive experience with any of the providers? With our current provider if we have broadband issues the customer service is not in the UK and can take hours and still not get anywhere!:confused:
