Has anyone else opted out of this new scheme by Barclays? They take 1% of your credit card receipts and put the money in a "bank" to reward Barclaycard users. When I asked the Barclay card representative what exactly Barclays was contributing to the scheme, he explained that they were paying for the advertising. It's the merchants who have to fund the scheme!
