Hoseasons--Cottages

Hi there,
New to this but just wondered if anyone else is having problems with Hoseasons,since their takeover. Are they coming out of Cottages ? to concentrate on Parks / Boats ? We cant seem to get any feedback from Hoseasons, but now see that their homepage no longer features Cottages ?
I know the Wyndham group wanted them for their Parks/Boating business as its a "fit" with their other portfolio. If they try to shunt us to another of their arms i.e. ECC or Cottages 4 you what are they like to deal with ?

Hoseasons do have a big spot for 'Cottages' on their homepage at the moment (although I appreciate it was January when you looked).

As an aside, I looked at Hoseasons when I was starting out this year. I decided against it and I was hopeful that I could take a number of bookings myself (which has proved to be the case) and, beyond a small number, they were going to want a (still significant) % from the bookings that I took!

Depending on your area, you might like to look at Dales Cottages. They are owned by Hoseasons but operate different. IIRC, you can take bookings yourself more freely and they take a smaller cut. They are not exclusive to the Dales despite the name - they have properties all over. They still weren't right for us, but it they might be worth a look.
