I have been reading about this and whilst it is a reasonable idea I would love to know which desk bound non-business person decided not to make a logo avaialable to participants to display on their web sites and thinks instead that a good commercial answer to the question

"How can I show prospective clients and contacts that I am part of the Charter?"

is

"Simply send them the link www.tourism2012games.org/fppc so they can download the list of signatories themselves."

Who writes this stuff and just when are they going to venture out into the world we live and work in? :-)

Had not even heard of it!

The Olympics is over rated. It will provide 6 weeks of full occupancy at a time of year when we already have full occupancy. No doubt it will provide extra tourists throughout the year which is welcome but it is doubtful if the Olympic authorities will promote any of that and with VB funding being reduced, looks like they cannot promote it either.

So unless you have a property in East London I think you can pretty well ignore the Olympics aa a business and just pick up any extra guests as normal without special Olympic promotions.

Did you know the mascots of the 2012 Olympics are Wenlock and Mandeville? (Or perhaps that should be Mandelson?)
