View Full Version : Buy in's to Brand and cluster campaigns

Hi everyone, I am interested to know how others feel about the 'brand' campaigns being offered by various ATP's (Area Tourism Partnerships)?

Do these work for you and bring in extra business? And do some areas bring more (if any)payback than others? eg Green/Families/Activities/Foodies.

Would be great to have some feedback as advertising is becoming so expensive I am getting to the 'punchdrunk' stage of what to choose with my hard earned cash!

I was on a 'Green Advantage' course the other month and the overwhelming feeling was that going green/ecotourism was the way forward. The concensus of opinion was that it is best to embrace this now and stay ahead of the game. In 5 to 10 years time when everyone else realises that being green is an important factor is visitors deciding where to holiday and what to do when they are at a destination - businesses that are already 'green established' will be at a far greater advantage as opposed to those which are just jumping on the bandwagon because they feel they will lose out on customers if they do not embrace this concept.

I'm still sceptical though.
