Question Guest's 'stuff'

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have a couple of different guests that come to stay 3 or 4 times a year. Using public transport. I was thinking of offering them a starage box (45liter size) to keep some of that 'stuff' that you need but wish you didn't have to transport each time. It will be labelled and kept in the store on a shelf for them to collect. It feels like a good 'add on' to keep my guests coming back, so what are the drawbacks that I'm ignoring everyone.

Lots of potential problems but in reality it would probably be fine.
What happens if their property gets damaged or your guests say some things are missing?
What happens if they leave things and then don't come and collect?
If you fall ill or something happens and you have to close, how do you get their stuff back to them?

Get them to padlock it - their padlock, their keys. Agree that they will collect it within a certain period of time if you close or move. Then the above problems shouldn't arise.

Its difficult to padlock a 50 litre plastic box. My guests seemed to have filled their box with 'bathroom stuff'. It's labeled with name and postcode and sat on the shelf that has been given a title. I'm going to run with the one couple's box to see if it works. Next year we can offer more if required. They were very thrilled with the offer.
