British Travel Trade Fair dates announced

The 2008 British Travel Trade Fair (BTTF) will take place on 11 and 12 March at the NEC Birmingham.

BTTF is the established business-to-business exhibition dedicated to showcasing travel and tourism products, services and destinations from across the UK and Ireland to domestic and incoming audiences. The Fair offers face-to-face opportunities for both larger and smaller companies to generate business, network and gather information.

Held annually over two days, BTTF is organised by Reed Travel Exhibitions on behalf of VisitBritain in conjunction with VisitScotland, Visit Wales and Tourism Ireland.

Last year's event featured over 300 exhibitors, attracted 2,200 plus travel trade and group travel organisers from the UK and overseas, and generated £30 million-worth of business for British tourism.

In 2008, BTTF will again be a centrepiece event of the second British Tourism Week (see October news item), with this year's show offering exhibitors and visitors alike fresh ideas, fresh inspiration and fresh opportunities.
