Iknow-UK to expand regional coverage

Iknow-UK, an online accommodation and hospitality directory that covers several regions in the UK recently announced that it had decided to expand its portfolio of websites after doubling its turnover.

The two new websites – for the Home Counties and the Cotswolds – closely follow the launch of iknow-UK’s London website this summer, which has already received over 100,000 visitors since July, contributing to the company’s jump in turnover to £2.25m in the past year.

Iknow-UK will now have a total of 18 websites to cover different regions. These are (in addition to the two recently announced above): Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, East Anglia, Hampshire, Kent, Lake District, London, North East, North West, Peak District, Scotland, Somerset, Sussex, Wales and Yorkshire.

Each regional website is further sub-divided in areas and then in cities within those areas to make it easier for visitors to find suitable accommodation in specific places – although the search engine does allow them to look for accommodation in the entire region if they so choose.
