Licensing rules are set to be relaxed on the occasion of the upcoming Royal Wedding, on 29 April. As a result, licensed premises in England and Wales can stay open and sell/supply alcohol for consumption on the premises, offer regulated entertainment, and serve late-night refreshments where alcohol is also sold, between 11pm and 1am on the night of Friday 29 April, and the same hours the following night (Saturday 1 May). Existing licence conditions (eg to provide door staff) will apply during these extended hours.
