New categories for Considerate Hotel Awards

The Considerate Hotel Awards 2010/2011 has introduced two new categories for next year’s competition, which include the Considerate Small Accommodation Provider of the Year Award, for establishments with 10 bedrooms or less, and the Considerate Supplier of the Year Award.

The Considerate Hoteliers Association (CHA) explained that the Considerate Small Accommodation of the Year Award has been developed to specifically target smaller accommodation providers who may have felt intimidated by larger establishments and therefore refrained from participating.

The Considerate Hotel Awards is now looking to all hoteliers and accommodation providers to put in their nominations for the Awards (whether they are CHA members or not), which will take place in early summer 2011, with a deadline for submissions of March 31, 2011.

The Considerate Hotel Awards recognises accommodation providers’ environmental, sustainable and socially responsible initiatives. More information can be found on www.consideratehoteliers.com.
