The following topics within the Legislation Guidance section of the site have been updated.

Holiday packages - new guidance

The Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform (BERR) has issued new guidance for tourism businesses on the definition of a package under the Package Holiday Regulations in January 2008.

The Holiday Packages section has been updated to reflect this new guidance.

Migrant workers

As of 29 February 2008 there are new measures, contained in the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006, to help tackle illegal migrant working. There has also been an increase in the fees for sponsoring overseas workers.

Both are covered in the Migrant Workers section.

Fire safety guidance

The Fire Safety section has been updated to include extra items within Further Guidance.

Access statements

The Guests with Disabilities section has been updated to provide more information on VisitBritain's quality scheme requirements with regard to access statements.
