The following topic within the Legislation Guidance section of the site has been updated.
It is important to state terms and conditions to guests before they book - if you fail to do so, it will be very difficult to recover any costs arising from guests failing to turn up or from damages caused by guests. Once you have agreed the terms of a booking with a guest and then accepted the booking, there is a legally enforceable contract between you and the guest.
With this in mind, the Bookings section has been updated to include a template document for booking terms and conditions, which you can adapt for use in your business.
